SHORT BIO NOTE

Ryan Roi B. Domingo holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Bachelor of Arts in English Language. He is an instructor at the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) in Ilocos Norte, Philippines where he specializes in Sociolinguistics, Multimodal Composition, and Computer-mediated Communication. He is actively engaged as a member of TESOL International Association and was recognized as a high-performing alumnus of the U.S. Department of State’s Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Program. He is known to his academic community as a vibrant and creative youth leader. Serving as the youngest university official, as Chief for Digital Media Services of MMSU’s Office for Strategic Communication, he is proficient in digital marketing and media design.

Ryan’s passion as an educator and love for community service will undoubtedly fuel his commitment as a participant in the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program. He will be placed at Skyline College in San Bruno, California for AY 2022-2023 to serve as a Tagalog teaching assistant and an ambassador of the Filipino culture.
