Dr. Anton Louise P. De Ocampo is an Associate Professor and Research Center Head at Batangas State University, where he leads initiatives in digital transformation, machine learning, and intelligent systems. As Head of the Digital Transformation Center, he provides strategic and technical leadership in advancing AI-driven research and interdisciplinary innovation aligned with national development priorities.

He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University, specializing in machine vision systems. His research focuses on applied machine learning in digital signal processing, particularly in intelligent sensing, computer vision, and robust AI systems operating under real-world constraints. A key highlight of his recent work investigates the use of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) combined with machine learning for advanced battery diagnostics. His work focuses on extracting high-dimensional impedance features to enable accurate estimation of battery health, state-of-charge, and degradation mechanisms.
