Fulbright East Asia and Pacific Regional Travel Program

The Fulbright East Asia and Pacific Regional Travel Program enhances the impact of the Fulbright Program across the East Asia and Pacific (EAP) region by supporting short-term travel for U.S. Fulbright Scholars. Through this initiative, scholars already based in the region can visit other EAP countries for 3–14 days to conduct lectures, workshops, seminars, master classes, and other academic or cultural activities. The program aims to broaden the reach of their expertise and strengthen regional collaboration.

Fulbright Commissions and U.S. Embassies in East Asia and the Pacific are encouraged to participate by informing eligible scholars about this funding opportunity. Applications for travel support must be submitted by the Fulbright Commissions and U.S. Embassies on behalf of the inviting institution or the scholar.
