Ang Elyn P. Gumanoy is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of MapĂșa University, where she teaches mathematics courses for general engineering programs. She has been teaching at Mapua for two years, steadily building her academic career in Mathematics education and research. Her scholarly work focuses on Mittag-Leffler analysis, non-Gaussian analysis, and operator theory. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology in 2026, receiving the Best Thesis Award for her dissertation titled "Integral Kernel Operators in Mittag-Leffler Analysis".
She also completed her master's and bachelor's degrees in Mathematics at MSU-IIT, graduating cum laude in her undergraduate program. She participated in the DOST-ASTHRDP Research Enrichment Program at Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University-Kaiserslautern in Germany and Linnaeus University in Sweden from 2023 to 2024. She has presented her research in local and international conferences and has authored and co-authored scholarly works, including a publication in Methods of Functional Analysis and Topolog.
