She is currently a faculty member of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Mid La Union Campus. She earned her Master of Arts in Language and Literature from the University of the Philippines - Baguio and is pursuing a PhD in Language Education at the University of the Philippines - Diliman. She handles courses such as Philippine Literature, Language, Culture, and Society, Teaching and Assessment of Literature Studies, Technical Writing, and Purposive Communication. Her academic interests include language education, linguistic landscape, sociolinguistics, literary studies, and the evolving relationship between language and culture.

As an FLTA, she aims to teach the Filipino language and share the richness of Philippine culture to students and communities in her host institution. She aims to serve as a cultural ambassador while gaining deeper insights into American culture and educational practices. Through this experience, she hopes to broaden her global perspective, strengthen her professional competencies, and adopt innovative teaching approaches that will benefit her students and institution upon her return.
