Dr. Jean Louise C. Damo is a University Researcher II at the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (BIOTECH), University of the Philippines Los Baños. She earned her Ph.D. in Biological Production Science from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, with specialization in plant nutrition and plant-microbe interactions. Her research focuses on microbial inoculant development, nutrient-mobilizing microorganisms, and sustainable agricultural technologies. Dr. Damo has led and contributed to nationally and internationally funded research projects and has published in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals. She is actively involved in promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture.
