Kristina Camille G. Cablayan is the Chief of the Policy Division at the Office for Strategy and Policy (OSP) of the Department of National Defense (DND), where she leads strategic assessments and policy development on national defense and security issues.
Since joining the DND in 2009, she has handled bilateral defense relations with partners across Asia, Europe, and the Pacific, overseen engagements with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the United Nations (UN), conducted assessments on the West Philippine Sea (WPS) issue.
She received the National Council for United Nations Peace Operations (NCUNPO) Award in 2017, the DND Model Supervisor Award in 2021, the DND Plaque of Merit Award in 2022, and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Exemplary Supervisor Award in 2025.
Kristina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude) and Master of International Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman, as well as a Master of Public Administration from the Australian National University. She has been a Laulima Fellow of the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) since 2022 and was conferred the Career Executive Service Eligibility (CESE) in 2024.
