Ronald Arlet P. Villaber is a core faculty member of the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry and an affiliate faculty of the Department of Biotechnology, College of Arts and Sciences, Visayas State University Main Campus at Baybay City, Leyte. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the Visayas State University (2010) and Master of Science in Agricultural Chemistry at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (2015). His research fields of interest are nanoencapsulation of bioactive compounds, nanophytohormones, and natural product chemistry. He is an active member of the Natural Product Society of the Philippines and an elected officer of the Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – Visayas Chapter.
