Dr. Erlinda Ronda is a mathematics education specialist and researcher at the University of the Philippines National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development. She has over three decades of experience in mathematics teaching, curriculum development, teacher professional learning, and research-based educational innovation. Her work focuses on mathematics discourse, technology-mediated teaching, Lesson Study, and the development of tools that support teachers in designing instruction for mathematical proficiency and critical problem solving. She is known for her work on the Mathematics Discourse in Instruction Framework and its teacher-facing adaptation, the Mathematics Discourse in Teaching Framework.

She also leads research and development initiatives on GeoGebra-integrated teaching and the Digital Mathematics Teaching Framework, with attention to access, participation, and mathematical reasoning in classrooms. Dr. Ronda has contributed to major mathematics curriculum reforms in the Philippines, including the Revised K to 10 Mathematics Curriculum Framework. She has conducted extensive professional development programs for teachers and instructional leaders across the country. In recognition of her contributions to mathematics education research and practice, she was conferred the title Career Scientist I by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines.
